Gatewood, MO – Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on County Rd 142 W-4

Gatewood, MO (August 20, 2022) – A crash took place in Ripley County on Thursday morning that sent two women to area hospitals with injuries. At around 11:35 a.m., on August 18, authorities were called to a crash on County Road 142 W-4.

Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban and a 2014 Jeep Wrangler were both traveling southbound on County Road 142 W-4 when they collided, resulting in both vehicles being totaled.

The drivers of both vehicles, identified as 27-year-old Taylor Beal and 48-year-old Dawn Evans, were injured. Beal was transported to 5 Rivers Hospital in Pocahontas, Arkansas, for treatment. Evans was transported to Popular Bluff Regional Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
